He's got an Avid setup and is very interested in NT because of D/Vision, which is supposed to have a full NLE at NAB. His other option is to go SGI because Avid is being ported there, instead of the Power PC, which I find interesting. In Broadcast graphics Mac's have been real popular but since the demise of the Quadra no one is interested in the Power PC. Don't know why, but he said no one he'd talked to was interested in doing video editing on an SGI either except the Scientific community. So it looks like NT wins again, because he's switching from the Quadra to a NT on I'm not sure what. The shape of things to come? <g> John
