Code produced by Manx is generally 20% to 50% smaller, and may run faster.
Manx supports inline assembler. Manx runs about twice as fast for
development cycle. However, both Manx and Lattice are in the process of
doing major revisions ; either is satisfactory for use now and should be
better soon.
Regarding BCPL compilers, Metacomco has hinted they may release BCPL
compiler sometime. Wish they'd get the stuff they're alreadt selling
working first…
