#FFP & IEEP math

Does anybody knows how to use and/or access the FastFloatingPoint & IEEP
routines from C, I tried using the samples in the ROM Kernel but tey did not
work. also i did a loop in C as follows:
for (a=0.0;a<360;a++)
{
Float1=sin(a/40.0);
Int1=40*Float1;
Int2=a;
Int3=WritePixel (MyRastPort,Int2,Int1+100);
}
Then in AmigaBASIC :
for a = 0 to 360
y=100+40*sin(a/40)
pset (a,y),1
mext a
I of course opened Screens,Windows and any others necessary steps in other
to display this SINE curve. my puzzel is Why is C only Sligthy faster than
AmigaBASIC is it because C is using 32 bits for all of it calcs. i dont
know why i haven't done any timing…
