I have seen some odd effects also with mirros… probably a side effect of
the polygon clipping. I am very impressed that intersecting triangles are
split, even in paint mode. As a long time graphics hacker, I appreciate it.
As far as selected pixels being rendered in the wrong place… i can give
Some clues: 1) I am running in 2.5 meg with a 30 k stack. 2) I am dealing
with 1500 or so vertices 3) I always use the windows stretched as large as
they go (nice menu command needed here). As it madly refreshes the window,
it occasionally puts "North's" highlights in "East" (which is on top of it)
etc. etc. Also, it wipes out the window borders in some of the bit planes,
making them yellow or brown.. I suspect a call to Lock Layers or something
like that is needed while the windows are refreshing (Note that the call
must be in effect while all three refresh). Also, I have a fairly early
copy (i.e. two weeks old!!) in case you've been fixing things week to week.
I have also gotten "Ham" artifacts… streaking and the like.. Is it time
to go to a 50K stack?? (It's actually running as I type in background..)
I'm looking forward to Animate… I hope it hooks into the existing
interfacevia some port (the way I'd do it) and a few extra gadgets. Big
fan… J H H Lowengard
