As a long time user of Imagemaster on the Amiga, I'm now trying to find my way
around WinImages. It seems to have all the power and then some, but its taking
some getting used to.
My specific task at the moment is to crop a sequence of 640 x 480 images so
that my new sequence will be a smaller, specific, constant size. I've tried
using the clip function but it doesn't seem to be doing what I need.
Do I need to specify a new action image in the required size? How can I
prevent the clipping function from creating, and maintaining, a new "view" file
each image in my original sequence (or how do I delete the "view" when I'm
finished with the frame? – I seem to remember struggling with this with an
ARexx script on the Amiga – had to manually delete buffers as I went along).
Also, can I specify the region of the cropping precisely (using x,y
coordinates) instead of visually? Alternatively, can I determine, after the
fact, the coodinates of the region I have selected?
Any help will be appreciated.
