FWIW, Almost EVERY serious developer I know, prefers OS/2 over NT and ALL told me not to bother with it since years by now. (just so you know why I'm feeling this way). Well, anyhow, as I stated earlier, lots of others have tried it and they came to the conclusion that it "sucks" (your words). It seems to me that you don't have exposure to any REAL multitasking, multiuser OS's like UNIX et al and that's probably why NT (after your regular Windows experience I assume) must look so overwhelmingly good to you.
