Hi all! Well It's a first for me, I've got a client that called me over to his place because 3D Studio was giving him a "Write Error" and he was hoping he wouldn't have to bomb out because he hadn't saved the project file. You guessed it…a Hard Drive Full. Well we had to bomb out and it seems we've got more to worry about that renaming the Project.bak file… even though we cleaned 700MB out of his 1GIG Drive he is now getting Bad Clusters poping up. Imeadiatly after we ran scandisk (dos 6.22) 2 bad clusters showed up. We backed up a couple of projects files and ran scandisk again and another bad cluster poped up. It appears as if this hard drive is going south. Does anyone know if a Hard Disk Full Can cause this and if so can we fix it and how. I was thinking we could try to tape back up his program files and reformate then reload. Or is this 1gig drive totally trashed? Thanks in advance for any hardware wizards that care to answer this.
