PMJI, but I thought he was talking "use permits" based on different types
of use (casual, low-level professional, high-end commercial), rather than based
on ability to pay (although they are linked to an extent). I imagine Pyros
Pictures could get a casual permit to play around with a mesh, then upgrade to
a commercial use permit if needed for a job. Quite the nightmare to check for
compliance, eh?
That's my take on it, I didn't save any messages. Interesting watching
this from the sidelines. I read a Rand book in high school, can't recollect
the title… I seem to remember that the protaganist rebelled against the
system and hid out in a nice house in the woods???
Liked the engineering "method" too. <g>
