I am probably not placing this question in the correct forum but I will try you anyway. I am just about to move our existing Unix server which has about 30 users attached by RS232 type to dumb terminals and 4 attached by a BNC type network to PC's. I am not happy with the BNC type connection and would like to move to a Hub of some sort even though this would mean changing existing network cards. This is where my problem is, I am not sure which type of cabling to use for the PC network. Can anybody advise. Keeping in mind that I will probably want to replace existing terminals with PC's at some stage and would like to allow for all the possible high speed connections that will be necessary for the integration of telephony products with the PC in the future along with possibility of employees working from home. My thanks in advance for any advice. Michael Farnan.
