Hi; I have: A2000, GVP G 040 @33, 16meg on board, 2 meg chip ram DKB, 2 int. HD's,(Maxtor 213andQuantum 500, daisy chained to internal GVPScsi port). WB 3.1. Also have Picasso II,Emplant, OpalVision and VLab boards; Bernoulli 150 external, connected to external GVPScsi port and Sony 300 CD-ROM. My present problem is getting my CD-ROM to run properly from the Amiga side. It works perfectly with Emplant Mac emulation. It's connected to the Emplant SCSI port. I have AsimCDFS installed. On installation, the asimcdfs.device is placed in devs/dosdrivers. On reboot, or cold boot, the system hangs up at devs/dosdrivers command in startup-sequence (I used "set echo on" to ascertain this). If I move AsimCDFS.device to devs, the system boots ok but I can't access the CD-ROM even though CD0: has been mounted. At this point, if I move AsimCDFS.device back to devs/dosdrivers, I can get Asim to recognize the CD-ROM and then I can access my CD-ROMs. However its function is a little bit irregular and occasionally crashes. I recently installed WB 3.1 and was hoping this would help the situation. I had the identical problem with WB 2.1. I first deleted AsimCDFS, after installing 3.1 to see if the CD-ROM would work but it didn't. I have the CD-ROM named emplantscsi.device. Any help would be appreciated.
