A3640-need HElp !
Hello- all_ I had an A3640 inside my A3000 @ 16 mhz, and couldnt get it to
work- I was told many things as to why it wouldnt, like the rev 04 Ramsey
needed to be an 06 rev….etc etc….The machine just would not boot. Then I
was told (after I sent it back) that there is a program called scramer, that
lets me change some things (ram- gui-) when the machine boots from the
harddrive- and that will make the card work. PLEASE- does anyone know about
this? Has anyone tried this- I would really like to run the A3640 in my A3000
but after 3 days of jumper setting and rebooting, and no help from the vendor
(they didnt know why it wouldnt work) I gave up… Thanks in advance for any
help on this matter- Mike.
