Can anywone tell me where I can find out what is meant by the series of beeps my 2386sx board makes when it boots? I had gotten everything on the Bridgeboard (except for MS Windows 3.1 not recognizing the AMouse mouse emulation) working and was in the middle of an AutoPilot session (trying to find out about AMouse and Windows 3.1) when the Amiga crashed _hard_ (immediately to a black screen, without any warning). After a few anxious moments when the Amiga failed to boot (nothing but a blank screen on power-up por reset), I checked all the expansion boards and found that my GVP Spectrum 28/24 board was not firmly seated in its slot. The Spectrum board was immediately adjacent to the 2386 slot and probably got jarred loose during installation of the Bridgeboard. Reseating the Spectrum brought the Amiga back to life, but the Bridgeboard refused to boot, and any Janus program launched from the User-Startup file would not return and would cause the Amiga's boot process to hang. All the 2386 board will do is issue a series of beeps, instead of the single beep it gave before when things went okay. The series of beeps starts with a single long beep followed by three short beeps, a pause and then another three short beeps. I assume that this is some error message from the Bridgeboard, but I could find no reference to them in the 2386 docs. Is there any hope for reviving my Bridgeboard, or have I fatally fried it? Any guidance welcomed (or, if it looks like I've totalled the 2386, a pointer to buying another one on reasonable terms would be welcome). Darron
