trace through the Load Program service in DOS and see what is going on. Net3 must patch it somehow or it would in fact look just like any other open. Perhaps it is trivial– the hook notices that LoadProgram has been called. Perhaps not. But you can easily find out how it is being done. Ask Jim Kyle if he knows anything. He already disassembled COMMAND and DOS itself. –John
