Modems
I'm using the Courier 2400 from US Robotics. This is a really great modem and
VERY hayes compatible. It even has in-modem help pages for those really
obscure commands. One of the nicest features (IMHO) is the "X6" dialing mode
in which the modem speed dials as soon as the dial tone is detected, detects
the rings, busy signal, voice instead of carrier tone, etc. All this for only
$350 from many mail order firms & retail outlets. –Wayne–
