Thanks again for the help Jon. I will download the Turbo C file tonight and let you know if it is the new version or not. I can handle both arc and zip files if necessary. I appreciate the information on how to read a specific message and its thread. Although I have been using Compuserve for awhile my knowledge is is almost entirely limited to using forums via Tapcis and the only reference material I have is the Tapcis manual. I ordered a book several years ago called the Compuserve User's Guide but it is almost useless and is now out of date. The word "Read" does not even appear in the index. Is there any way to get an indexed list of the commands with a brief explanation of each in a form that is suitable for used as a reference? Thanks, Bill.
