3DS Woes (why so slow???
I have lusted after 3DS ever since I heard of it, and finally an ancient
version (1.something) lands in my lap. Loaded it on a 486-DX2 50v with 8 megs
of ram and tons of hard drive room, and it would open but wouldn't run. Bought
another 4 meg of ram, and now it runs, kind of, but should it have taken almost
2 hours to draw the toroid in the opening tutorial? I think not! Never even
got to color it or add lights/camera. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG that it's soooo
sloooooww? Help! I'm desparate to play with it!
Also, is there such as thing as an upgrade? How do I get it?!
