Hi. I'm relatively new to CompuServe and just getting into forums. I'm a retired meteorologist with a current interest in archeology as it pertains to the exodis of evolving Man (humans) from Africa to the rest of the world. Did they go first to the mid-east and thence east to Asia and northwest into Europe? I think most anthropologists see the Nile River Valley as the escape route although I'm not aware of any Homo erectus or sapiens fossils uncovered along the Nile River. Maybe the annual floods destroyed them. I'd be interested in any thoughts (and sources) on the subject.
