Rick, I certainly do not qualify as professional yet but am slowly learning the ropes. I too have a Canon A1 Dig. and am looking at ways of smoothing things out. Particularly I am trying to shoot material on a moving sailboat both on the great lakes and in the Caribean. Good success so far but the random motion does take away from the overall profesional look. Would the Steady Cam Junior help me? Also what do you do with video? Dom
