It's being used by Andersen Consulting, 3M, AT&T, Mercedes, Caterpillar, many
branches of the armed services and other major companies as industrial on-line
and broadcast off-line. It' s also great for creating digital video clips for
integration into multi-media applications.
Since it is IBM based, there are many opportunities for technological advances
(Faster drives, SCSI, etc.) and your risk of obsolescence is greatly reduced.
