I scurried for my dictionary on that one:
sophomoric: (adj) conceited and overconfident of knowledge although
actually poorly informed and immature.
This is a great word and describes precisely my own sentiments towards
the recent "Mummy, nobody loves me" messages. I'll have to use it
more often.
