#PxS Memory Drain
I have an Amiga 500 with 1 meg of Ram and a hard drive. I am having
problems running PixelScript due to running out of memory.
Tonight I tried to print an 11.5K file that was all text and ran into the
same problem. The file contained one font in three sizes; 14pt., 24pt. and
48pt., all Roman. After the file began to process I got an "Out Of Memory"
message. I finally got the file to print by running from CLI.
When I opened the window for PixelScript (Intuition interface) I had about
725K of free memory. Considering the size of the file I would have thought
that this was enough memory. Am I doing something wrong, or is this normal
given my configuration?
