Wayne – Just out of curiosity, how much stack are you using? Reason I ask is because I had a _lot_ of trouble trying to import graphics (in my case it was .IMG files) until one day, for lack of anything else to try, I went into the icon and entered STACK=40000 in Tool Types (or wherever it goes). Next time I tried to load the image, not only was I able to with no problems, but I was actually able to complete the document with no crashes. I even _tried_ to crash it using methods I had crashed it with before, and it wouldn't. This was 1.61, even. Might want to check that out. Harry
