Michael and Bob, Sorry guys didn't mean to sound so negative about the drives. Just a little vented anger about the three I had. And it probably had most to do with the "special brand name" mail order enclosures they were in, (the companies will rename maneless). Oops! Just saw my special case of dyslexia get the better of me, I'll leave it for everone to "enjoy". These were the only drives I ever had problems with and come to think of it all my others were raw drives I installed either internally or in my own enclosures. But remember "little cities" can generate a lot of heat!!! Ron Ruvalcava Jr. -VDG P.S.
