Chris, our system also has 32mb of ram. Maybe our problems are
similar, but I haven't noticed swapping occurring at the time.
Unfortunately, I have not been staring at the screen when the problem
occurs. Once, I went into the 3D suite to check rendering process
and found the machine in the middle of a re-boot. Another time we
were rendering a matte, which is quick, and I saw a screen change out
of the corner of my eye while involved in another task in the space.
I have not seen parity error messages.
We'll try to keep tabs on this, and maybe we can get some better data
for all to work on.
