Audio Synchronization?
I've gotten great support from you'all, but there's this question still
pending!
I posted a question a week ago regarding audio problems and have received no
reply. Maybe it was poorly written. So I'm trying again.
When I capture audio along with a video clip, and then play the clip in the
clip editor in Premier, more often than not, the audio doesn't play well.
If the audio happens to be human speach, the speaker says a word or two. Then
there's a pop or loud sound, followed by the speaker saying the same thing
again. The intelligable portions last about half a second and the distortion
also lasts about half a second. The cycle repeats indefinitly.
While the audio is a mess, the video plays just fine – as if there was no
problem.
Also, when I preview the movie in Premier, the resulting audio is fine.
There's no problem when I write the movie in FAST's Movie Studio program.
Presumably, I could "make" each raw clip, and then use the made clips in the
construction of the movie. But that would certainly add time to the effort.
Is this a synchronization problem?
If so, how do I fix it?
I need to get by this because I'm finding that the audio – in a wedding, at
least – is very easy to use to determine in/out points for clips.
I didn't have time tonight to mess with audio synchronization.
