I'm afraid I disagree with the Byte article. I work in assembly language
on both machines and the Amiga places a much greater burden on the
programmer than the Mac. For example, the Amiga makes you do your own list
management, whereas the Mac handles lists (in particular, for menus)
automatically. To see more, check out the January, 1987 issue of Dr.
Dobb's, where I'm writing an article about all this. jan
