I am sorry. I have been using EDIT now to edit my messages, and I am *very* less than happy with it. It took me the better part of an hour to just put spaces at the front of a listing I had uploaded from my buffer to edit's buffer. Not a good showing. And I love the command to insert a space. Replace nothing with space. Not I for insert. Not even R for replace. C. And /c// / to boot. A far cry from "i $$". And, Chris, this time I used /d to delete lines, and they once again magically reappeared, after I had /type'd the buffer. Please, TECO? VI? Before I get so frustrated I fall on my sword. (A miraculous feat, especially at ten paces!) 🙂 ojhn p.s. Does edit not truncate lines? Can I at least type past column 80 without fear of retribution? Ok, one thing in it's favor. Just one.
