Joe, You should try contacting (1) firms that do lots of programming for micros, (2) firms that have lots of micros, and (3) consulting firms. In the first category are folk such as Lotus, Microsoft, IBM, etc. Remember, however, that these people may not do development _on_ the target machine, which can make a difference in how things are approached. In the second category I'd expect to find big companies like Boeing, Texas Instruments, General Motors, which are very heavy users of micros and probably have development staffs devoted to nothing but internal applications. The final category is populated by companies such as Yourdon, James Martin, etc. While their focus is likely to be larger machines, there are smaller versions of these companies that focus on the smaller machines. I occasionally get promotional mail from them. Finally there are oddball sources like Computer World magazine, societies such as IEEE and ACM, and your friendly public librarian. You should probably check Computer World's index for their special "Focus" issues, as well as their longer "In Focus" articles. I seem to remember a Focus special issue that addressed your question, among others. Please consider uploading the result of your search into a file here!
