The following is from the back cover of the MetaScope manual:
Metascope gives you everything you've always wanted in an application
program debugger:

Move through memory, display data or disassembled code code,
freeze to preserve display and allow restoration.

Status windows show register contents and program state with freeze
and restore; symbol, hunk, and breakpoint windows list current
definitions.

Log file for operations and displays, modify/search/fill memory, etc.
MetaScope executes as a Command Line Interface (CLI) command, and loads your
program as though it were being run from the CLI.
The above only gives a glimpse into MetaScope's capability. Their cryptic
and terse remarks may make no sense for someone who has not read the manual.
