Bela, The following is from the back cover of the MetaScope manual: Metascope gives you everything you've always wanted in an application program debugger: o Memory Windows Move through memory, display data or disassembled code code, freeze to preserve display and allow restoration. o Other Windows Status windows show register contents and program state with freeze and restore; symbol, hunk, and breakpoint windows list current definitions. o Execution Control Breakpoints with repetition counts and conditional expressions; trace for all instructions or subroutine level, both single-step and continuous execution. o Full Symbolic Capability Read symbols from files, define new ones, use anywhere. o Powerful Expression Evaluation Use extended operator set including rationals, all assembler number formats. o Direct to Memory Assembler Enter instruction statements for direct conversion to code in memory. o and More! Log file for operations and displays, modify/search/fill memory, etc. MetaScope executes as a Command Line Interface (CLI) command, and loads your program as though it were being run from the CLI. The above only gives a glimpse into MetaScope's capability. Their cryptic and terse remarks may make no sense for someone who has not read the manual. So if you have any questions about the above do not hesitate to ask. Joe
