When the new file system comes out you can expect the A2090 to achieve
approximately 90,000 bytes per second or higher in the 32768 byte read
test. The 512 byte read test (the one that really counts) will improve
by about double to ap- proximately 70,000 bytes per second.
That's ok I suppose. But (evil grin) the SDP will be doing double or
triple the above improved numbers even before we hit stage 3 of our
firmware. We fully expect a diskperf re- sult to hit 400,000 bytes per
second by the time we're fin- ished with SDP firmware.
However, the SDP will cost more than the A2090 to be fair.
