He wouldn't and neither would you! You would breath a little easier
though. The drive to make money is not the only reason for manufacturing a
product. The desire to product a quality product becomes its own drive. A
company whos only motive is profit (and naturally profit is important) is not
likely to be very sucessful. The management will not live particularly
fullfilling lives. It is far more important that what you do provides a real
benifit to others than most people realize.
One can live a life without ever really trying to help another, still
make a lot of money but will never experiance that 'warm fuzzy feeling' that
comes only from helping someone without any expectation of a return. I would
rather be 'poor and not selfish' than 'rich and selfish.' Those conditions,
fortunately, are not mutually exclusive. Wealth can be, like happiness, a
