Funny, I use BOTH vd0: and Amiga RAM: <—the device
I almost NEVER have gurus, until I tried to run WordPerfect 4.1, which i
pitched, and am back to nromal.
Maybe you have an older ramhandler in your L: That heppened to me once
before i figured out how to preserve my WorkBenches from the dreaded "all"
option of Copy.
Just a suggestion.

PS: I customarily run FACC-II, ClicktoFront, FastFonts, ScreenBlanker
(thanks to CHeath for those ECCELLENT last two items!), Grabbit, REZ, and a
few other niceties. I have T: assigned to RAM: and Grabbit saves to RAM: My
telecoms are set up to download to vd0: (self-preservation!), and I have a
whole BUNCH of paths, assigns and stuff going on. Still, I rarely see the
Guru. My normal WorkBejnch is 640×400, too.
