Rick, This is really not that important, but just to set the record straight: Your last message to me concerning Soundscape Pro-MIDI started with the statement, "You're both right". I assumed you meant the so-called MIDI specialist salesman and myself. That's not the case. The salesman did not know what a TRACK was in sequencer software. It's not that he didn't know how many tracks Pro-MIDI had in particular. He did not understand the concept of a track in general. He didn't know anything about sync-to-tape or virtual tracking, etc.. His sole expertise consisted of using Pro-MIDI occassionally with DMCS. The point is he could not help me. The Sound Sampler sounds interesting. I may get that with Pro-MIDI and the ECE interface. I can always get the upgrade if they make the sampler software support stereo. Dom Fontana
