Jan, I think the reason that Info world published such a story is that is
makes a good headline. You know the type "Big bad corporation against the
inocent little guy". It doen's matter that the little guy was wrong! I was
involved with such media hype few years ago. Then a 12 year old kid manage
to log into our developement system (via telenet) and we let him play
adventure. Few days later he appeared on local news with extravagant
claims, that he could modify our data bases and perform any kind of
operation. Of course, he COULD NOT. But who are going to believe, a big
corporation or a 12 year old kid? Besides, 12 year olds lie all the time so
that doesn't make a good story…..oh,well…..Richie
