As I said in my note, the financial matters of the article are the only
ones that weren't readily visible to the network-going public. Thats
something between you and Jim. I certainly hadn't heard that you'd offered
him financial inducement to come over. I have no idea whether or not you
'cut' your assistants in for a piece of the pie (such as it is). The
article was the first I'd heard of that, but as I say, everything else in
the article was public knowledge.
Personally, I think Jim should have renamed the program before putting that
'CIS only' notice in it. Maybe called it Novaterm instead of Starterm (or
something like that). The 'Star' in Starterm had become associated with
'Starship Amiga' on Delphi. If I were deb!, I'd have been furious.
Renaming it would have probably been the better course of action.
