CD-ROM

There is a standard for CD-ROM (High Serria Group) that specifies the
physical format of the disk. Players from Sony, Phillips, Toshiba and
others are avaliable
Howvere we don't know of one that interfaces to the Amiga …. yet. The
data transfer rate for a CD-ROM disk is about 150K bytes/second, and I'd
advise a direct read as Amiga Dos would slow this down considerably. The
seek time is about 1 to 2 seconds, so you have to be clever on file
