(RE 35348) Michael, I spoke to you on the phone about Batteries Included's position on the Amiga. I can understand the business realities that make it inappropriate for you to release Amiga products at this time. Yet, I believe that your reasons are wrong, that the profits to be made in the Amiga market are at least as high as those to be made in the Atari ST market. To paraphrase an Amiga and ST dealer I talked to earlier this week, "all of my distributors tell me that when the same product is released at the same time for the ST and the Amiga, the Amiga version sells out immediately, and comparitive sales continue to favor the Amiga". I'd feel better about saying that if I had talked to the distributors myself, but I still believe it. You are in a position to talk to distributors about it. Maybe you should check. I understand that in any case, it's not likely to speed your release of Amiga products, but maybe it will influence your current development activities. I'm not anti-ST, just strongly pro-Amiga. I wish companies would give >both< machines more attention. Even EA. – Bela
