Help with Video!

A video engineer that I've worked with told me that the 1377 circuit they
used came ( nearly) straight off the data sheet app note. Frank Raffaeli (
Nova Com) tells me that they left out necessary filters and that the delay line
is the wrong delay. RS-170A is an expensive spec to generate.
Do you think there would be a market for a good fairly inexpensive encoder
for the amiga?
