Yes, that's neat. It reminds me of something I once heard to the effect that if
one could close a pair of scissors so quickly that the tips of the blades were
moving at near c, the point of intersection of the blades would travel outwards
to the tip at greater than c. Which does not violate the special theory because
the point of intersection is not a 'thing' except conceptually.
