I wonder if the inertia of a bar of steel that was, say, long enough to circle the globe at an orbital height in hard vaccum, would be related to the distance that one end was from the other and c. You know, like, light would go x miles in y minutes, bar is x, inertia is y*bar_length… ??? –Ben–
