Thanks, Dave, for the reply! I certainly do appreciate it…
Uhmmm… actually, I think I contacted over a dozen stations in that area
of Texas and Gail was the one that has followed up on my complaint. (I
only
contacted two stations in Houston.) – I'venever been to Texas myself, but
I
have a friend that livd there for a short time who has some EXTREMELY fond
memories of Marvin Zindler… However, he couldn't remember which station
Marvin was with, so I was just crossing my fingers.
However, Gail has followed up in a very professional manner, has kept me
posted, and she seems very determined to follow through. And no doubt, she
has followed through with my problem perhaps more than any of the other
angencies that I have contacted. I am pleased that she is willing to help!
Anyway, I think my file is not quite up to snuff yet, in that I haven't
included copies of the correspondence I have received. I am in the
process
of typing those up, to try to keep up to date. Things should be much more
clear when I have included those letters.
– Finally, I have quite a few friends that would have been hurt more than
I to lose $903.00 to a mail order vendor, and if I have helped any of
them,
(to avoid this situation), then I suppose it will have been worthwhile.
I'm hoping that if anybody else runs into this type of difficulty, that
they might be able to use my file to get through the problem. I think
Amiga
users have got to feel that they have somebody or something to help them
in
circumstances similar to this.
