Drew: Here are the results of my investigations: There are two freeware programmes available in the Macintosh Communications Forum (GO MACCOM), Library 4. ZIPPOP.BIN will de-archive MS-DOS files archived using PKARC (these have the suffix .ZIP). ARCPOP.BIN will de-archive MS-DOS files archived using ARC (these have the suffix .ARC). There are two programmes available in the IBM Communications Forum (GO IBMCOM), Library 2. UNPACK.ARC will de-archive Mac files archived using PackIt (these files have the suffix .PIT). UNSTUF.ARC will de-archive Mac files archived using StuffIt (these files have the suffix .SIT). For members wanting to exchange files, files should be saved to disk as PostScript files and should not (I would think) contain any bitmapped graphics or fonts. This PS text file can then be archived and uploaded for sharing with other members. Remember to include a note in your file summary about what fonts are necessary to properly print the file. A brief note from experience: PageMaker for IBM inserts a control character at the beginning and end of each file it prints to disk. Mac users should delete these characters from the PS file (using practically any word processing software) before sending it to the printer, as it will cause your printer to hang and the file will not print. The only other caveat I can think of is that we should be pretending we will be printing these files on a LaserWriter. Drew, I'm going to download your file tonight and see if this actually works. (I don't have Park Avenue, but I can use my imagination.)
