#DTP gone bad!

Personally, the Mac's SMART QUOTES are driving me CRAZY! When I keep moving
files off the Mac and into our Quadex system, they come across in QASCII as
capped Rs and Ss, the em dash as cap Q, etc. and so forth. Keep telling
myself to carve out some time and write a little program to convert the
Mac's hi-order stuff to typesetting style tags, but haven't gotten around
to it.
Besides, I always liked inch marks. Especially in the sans serif faces <g>.
