It's hearing stories like these that make me glad I'm on the creative end,
and not the "service" end of the graphics business. I have enough trouble
dissuading clients who have set ideas about what type they want to use,
what colour it should be, what stock should be used, all before we have our
first meeting. Having to deal with bucket brains like you've described
would drive me nuts! Have you tried pointing out to them what a lousy job
their freelancers are doing?
