Chester… Sorry to jump in but… That's a feature! If you create a block with entities on any layer other than layer 0, then when you insert that block, the entities come in on the layer they were created on. If you want the entities to reside on the same layer as the block insertion reference (the layer you do the insert on) then you have to create the entites on layer 0! Good luck… >>> John <<<
