[continued] on a single minded career track…..when I returned to school to do some lit studies, it was remarkable what I saw in "classics" that I would have missed wothout that time and experience and I know my critical work was 100x better for it…… oh, dear, I seem to have gotten up on my infamous soapbox again…..time to climb down, smoothe my skirt, toss my hair and go find that Mickey Mouse blanket my daughter's yelling for….. what a pleasure the different insights in this thread bring up…..
