What you should know about Corel is that they offer what is just about the best support in the industry. They're also very responsive to their users, and are constantly working on improvements. CorelDRAW is extremely powerful and intuitive. You'll probably get up to speed with it faster than with other programs. Text support features are superb and many people buy it for that alone – not to imply that other features are less good – the program is overall excellent. There are other good programs, and each has certain strengths. Perhaps if you tell us what your main use will be, we'll be able to give you specific recommendations, but I personally use CD for just about everything, including designing business cards, forms, single-page flyers, etc. Oh, about the video, they MAY have a pre-sale video, but I don't know.
