Mike, I can definitely understand the need to back stuff up. You never know when a piece of code can go haywire. Working on a Z80 assembly real-time operating system for a microprocessor embedded product was a job of mine for seven years. You betcha we backed things up! <^v^> As I told the other mike, I was just looking for general information and characteristics. My knowledge of C is just enough to be dangerous. I attempted to work with a guy on an Amiga who wanted to do everything in C. So I got Mix C for my Apple CP/M. We were hopelessly mismatched! At least I got no worse than a C in the project. Next time I'm going to be sane and take on the Cray as a more nearly equitable partner! :^) Sincerely, (Mr.) Gayle Lee Fairless 'Perfessor Fearless'
