Picture this (I'm a twilight zone kinda guy) 50 thousand tubes and relays creating an Amiga in 1945, of course, it runs at a pittly 1.34 mhz. but given 30 minutes, it will load dpaint and run it. Kinda of weird, huh? That's the way I am, for example, I produced a game called Prophecy that ran on the IBM. There was this one spell, Baeharlock that, if powered up and casted in a small room, would create so much residual energy that the entire computer] would lock-up. People thoght it was a bug until they figured out how it worked. Also, about the fast buck artist, we hired a guy to create the end splash screen for Prophecy, and he took us for a ride and gave us a silhouette pic that looked like such a rush job (and we weren't pressing) that it was condemned. These instances scare me, because when you see it happening in a lot of games, you get this flashback to a software crash of 1984-85. Anyone remember that? -rad
