Mike, You CAN have both a color window and a mono window open at the same time. I have my jumper on mono, but it should work either way. Make sure both color and mono are set to ON in PCPrefs. Then open your color window as usual, and type MODE MONO at the prompt. The cursor should go away. If your color screen is small enough, just click on the mono icon. If it's full screen, move it aside, and select the mono icon. You should get a mono window (or full screen) with the cursor blinking happily inside. If you don't, your dealer probably didn't open a mono window when he first saved the window settings. You'll need to delete your sidecar.settings file, open both a color and a mono window and start saving settings from scratch. Lee
